A Day Dedicated to being Grateful

We should probably have Thanksgiving once a month. Food, family, and a day dedicated to expressing what you're thankful for. There are things I remember I am thankful for and praise often: the parents, the husband, the nieces, and my baby. You forget the little things... your car, your bed, milky ways, flowers, Dior, jobs, and sweats. You think get to think of them today.

Here are the main things, just for a formal "Thank You" to the important ones!

I am thankful for good friends. I only have a handful, but I love them so much. They are there for me whenever I need them and it is especially hard right now because I am a crazy person with all these hormones. I've known Holly for nearly a decade and she has been the best. She is my adopted sister. Don't know what I'd do without her.

If there is one thing I am grateful for it is that my parents didn't make me an only child. Having four other siblings has been nuts. We hate each other more often than not, but still love. What would I have done in high school without my brothers? My childhood was SO much fun, even with my oldest sister sitting on me and doing that thing where they spit and suck it back up and my youngest brother throwing potatoes at me. It makes life so interesting.

My babies. There is no greater blessing until you have your own children. I can't believe how perfect these little ladies are. I love being an aunt. Kaylee is my unbiological daughter. I love my little best friend. Watching these girls grow is amazing. They have each had their little personalities since birth. KayButt is a cuddlebug. Taters is the center of attention. RiPie is a smartie pants. Dids is a little sneak! Lillybug is the sweetest bag.

My parents. These people have been my greatest influence and I cannot imagine life without them. They taught me hard work, love, and how to live life. I am so thankful to have them as my little man's grandparents. My mom has raised us right and I plan to parent just like her.

This poor man. Right now I think he'd like any title EXCEPT husband because I am a crazy lady. There is no one else I'd rather have as my baby daddy. He is so kind and loving. Sometimes, even though I am super pregnant, he'll take the bathroom before me and sometimes he won't run upstairs for me, but usually he will drop everything for me. He supports my crazy habits and he tolerates my mean rants. I think I'll keep him around a little.

My precious little monster. I love him so much. Sometimes he makes me pee my pants a little and he will keep me awake at night, but there is nothing I am more thankful for than his little kicks and movements. I can't wait for January.

The list of things we are thankful for is endless, but you get the idea. :)
